Facilities Manager Los Angeles CA Job Ref: JOB-1632The Lincoln Group is immediately seeking a Facilities Manager on a Direct Hire basis for our client in the Food & Beverage Industry located in Los Angeles, CA. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining the facility and all equipment, including HVAC & refrigeration systems, to the highest safety and operational standards.

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Work Schedule: M-F, occasional weekends
Compensation: $80K - $100K
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Ensure that all refrigeration equipment, material handling equipment, building structure, security/fire alarms, and fire suppression systems are operating in a safe and efficient manner.
- Manage work order system for general repairs and maintenance on building and grounds.
- Manage and schedule outside maintenance vendors through RFP and effectively coordinate with outside contractors, vendors, and government agencies to maintain the safety of the team members within the facility.
- Encourage a safe work environment where team members feel a personal sense of responsibility for themselves and others.
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and training of maintenance and refrigeration team members to work in a safe manner in accordance with regulatory agencies and company standards.
- Effectively manage scheduled preventative maintenance programs to take corrective actions and avoid downtime.
- Promote exceptional Customer Service by creating an environment that promotes building and maintaining effective communication with vendors, and internal and external customers.
- Participate in planning policies, procedures, goals, and objectives regarding the physical plant.
- Monitor and manage the shop’s safety and sanitation levels.
- Monitor and maintain departmental payroll to include checking computerized time/attendance daily for proper time clock punches in the system, coordinating PTO requests for staffing purposes, and turning in paperwork timely to HR for processing in the correct pay period.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education, or comparable business experience, preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC/refrigeration required.
- 2+ years of experience with 3-phase electrical required.
- Experience with lift truck maintenance or similar equipment required.
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting PI&D drawings, piping schematics, and single-line electrical drawings.
- Understands and complies with EPA and OSHA policies, procedures, programs, and safety management.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
- Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the customer to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Independently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to handle and physically be near products that may contain food allergens.
- Able to work in fluctuating temperatures and withstand freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit.
