The Lincoln Group has partnered with a nationwide leading provider of comprehensive water management services, in search of a General Manager for their Green Bay, WI location. The company is focused on maintaining, inspecting, and repairing post-construction stormwater and lift station systems.
The General Manager will report to the VP of Waste Water Services and provide leadership and regional governance over environmental remediation projects for client's stormwater systems with a particular focus on company Vactor and CCTV services in the Midwest Region. This includes oversight and managing company Vactor and CCTV services within the defined region to emphasize quality, timeliness, and overall client satisfaction. Additionally, this position will support the stormwater repair and maintenance staff within the Midwest region.
Compensation: Up to $120K/year, plus excellent benefits, matching 401K contributions, and generous Paid Time Off!
Responsibilities
- Manage the performance of direct reports with respect to the established key performance indicators (KPIs) and regional objectives, such as gross revenue, profit margins, and others defined by executive leadership
- Implement and execute plans to complement the business unit's strategic and operating plan; champion the execution of tactical initiatives within the Business Unit to maximize the customer experience, growth, and durability, while optimizing profitability
- Interact with customers and local, state, and federal government employees to resolve customer service concerns; ensure regulatory compliance standards are met
- Maintain consistency among corporate, division, and Vactor teams through documentation and communication
- Manage operations to ensure compliance with all standards including environmental, operating, regulatory, safety and ethics
- Oversee effective safety and accident prevention programs to ensure all reasonable action are taken to prevent accidents and injuries; ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees; implement and maintain and effective loss control and safety program
- Ensure consistent quality of deliverables by incorporating industry best practices, monitoring project communications
- Manage Green Bay office/warehouse, oversee and support the company fleet management program, repairs and maintenance, for all Vactor and CCTV vehicles and equipment
- Approves & submits time reports, credit card expenses, and all required project documentation based on company requirements
- Develop and manage customer and community relationships, continually assessing operations and developing plans to promote optimal service and customer satisfaction and retention
- Partner with Business Development team to identify and close new upsell and expansion opportunities with existing customers
- Performs QA/QC checks in the field
- Communicate regularly with customers to discuss metrics and identify obstacles to renewals
Requirements
- 12+ years management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or other relevant disciplines; proven track record of work experience in similar positions may be substituted for education requirements
- Experience in Stormwater, Vactor, and CCTV services
- Demonstrated personnel and operations management experience
- Sophisticated analytical reasoning aimed at providing quality solutions with exceptional cost-saving measures
- Ability to manage multiple projects against tight deadlines
- Valid driver’s license – up to 25% travel required
- Proficient with mobile technology (i.e. iPad, laptop, email, etc.), Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Excel
