Human Resources Manager Las Vegas Nevada Job Ref: JOB-1643The Lincoln Group has partnered with a company in the non-profit industry in Las Vegas in search of a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the human resource function, to include employee relations, recruitment, HR compliance, onboarding, and benefits administration. This position will report directly to the CEO.
Type of Hire: Direct Hire
Compensation: $80,000/year, plus benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage employee relations issues and escalate as necessary.
• Manage the recruitment strategy to include using social media, sourcing, career fairs and partnering with educational institutions to identify qualified talent. Review resumes, pre-screen applicants, maintain job postings, and follow-up on conducted interviews.
• Manage the full cycle recruitment process including pre-employment and onboarding processes.
• Oversight of credentialing process ad work with other staff that are responsible initiating this process.
• Maintain sensitive employee documentation into Ultipro from cradle to grave.
• Responsible for benefits information, to include annual open enrollment, communication to the employees and other benefit activity; benefit administration, including process benefit coverages for new hires, open enrollment, qualifying events, and terminations into both UltiPro and vendor sites.
• Administer worker’s comp processes and oversight of worker’s comp audit from beginning to end.
• Oversight of 401k audit.
• Responsible for unclaimed property filing and follow up for uncashed payroll checks.
• Provide training and assistance with Ultipro as well as troubleshoot various issues.
• Create and maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable departmental and legal requirements.
• Administer and manage the HR systems conversion from Ultipro to new HR management software selected by the CEO & Sr. VP of Operations.
• Run ad hoc reports as requested and process employee of the month awards, FMLA requests, and COBRA administration.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization’s compliance.
• Compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data.
• Supervises the staff of the human resource department.
• Supports modifications and distribution of the Employee handbook and Corporate Policies.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of five (5) years increasingly responsible technical or administrative experience in human resources required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and HR Management System experience is required.
• Knowledge of human resource functions, as well as federal and state employment laws and regulations preferred.
